Sorry to say you are getting some very inaccurate responses here so far. Trying to diagnose a problem by probability is just wasting your time, though.
DI is easily checked. The easiest check by far is to use a known good DI. Any Saab mechanic should have a test unit. Takes maybe 10 minutes to swap a DI cassette.
CS can also be checked. Failure can be intermittent. Hot weather no start points to crank sensor failure. The claim that a bad crank sensor will not cause the tach to bounce is completely untrue. To check the crank sensor, use a voltmeter set to AC voltage. Check the output of the sensor while cranking (you must supply 12V power to the sensor while you do this). If the reading is in the 2.5V AC range, crank sensor is good. Otherwise it is bad. Saab mechanics check for fuel injector pulses to confirm a bad CS, but the test I described is easier for a DIY.
