Hi,
I know that I am always on the edge of selling or walking away. Whenever I fix something, something automaticly breaks. Its like the car can only stand some many things working at one time, and every time the balance slightly tipped, its makes sure to tip the otherway.
This is because I (we) use the wrong strategy for fixing these cars. There are others (my Friend Kyle for example) who fix before things break. He's always looking for stuff to fix on his car, and often he finds things that may have down the road lead to something bad, and fixes them nowe Also, when the car does break (slave for example) he does not percive the car breaking as a personal attack, but instead fixes by himself.
That's the other thing. If you like tinkering, Saabs are great cars, always providing a project. If hate it or don't fix your own car, Saabs can be very expensive (as you're learning).
As for our car, the master cylinder is a possibility but also check for a puddle under the tranny, and pray that there isn't one there. Assuming no puddle, check the hydrolic hose, I am told they can rupture.
