Great! If your lamp pairs are lit and still pictorgram displaying headlamp trouble then your on the right track. 65 Watt high beams should draw less than 6 amps. Never done it to these type of fuses but if you take a blown fuse, solder some high strand count (flexible) meter lead wire to the top corners of the fuse, meter plugs on the leads to plug into current jacks of meter = instant ammeter test plug for any circuit in the car.
I your not used to doing close quarters small path soldering yes those can be tight. As long as you used a 60/40 or better rosin core solder and ended up with small repairs which are shiny silver you should be fine.
