Throttle body is very much sensitive to heat since it has a load of circuits, sensors and switches inside the electric part of body.
It might even be that the new style TB starting to fail by now since it's getting close to 10 years old.
The TCS system used between 92 and 95 (US spec) is a poorly designed system that have too many components that fails.
To minimize the failures, as many new components as possible needs to be installed and properly coded and calibrated.
From the start in 91-92, ECU,TB, Pedal potetiometer, bleeder valve and check valve have gone through several updates.
BUT!! As a comparison 2 and 3 year old Saabs and Volvos are failing left and right by that the throttle body goes bad, and they are suppose to have the latest technology available????
