The fact that the ABS light comes on when the car starts rolling says that the ABS system isn't getting speed pulses from at least one sensor. Since it does go out before you drive off says that the sensor impedance is OK.
The easiest way to pinpoint the sensor is to read the ABS codes - unfortunately, that requires a reader, and to read it when the ABs light is on. That's a dealer trip.
Unless you have an oscilloscope handy, I don't have a good way to look at pulse issues. The best I can suggest is to make sure the sensor is properly seated, and that the sensor wheel is in place and clean. That's a gear on the hub that the sensor 'sees'. As the teeth of the gear go by, it produces a pulse. If the gaps between the teeth are clogged, it can screw up the pulses. The same if the wheel is too far from the sensor.
