68342/7 might not mean that much. That fault code was Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Wed, 29 Oct 2003 17:41:13 In Reply to: Re: TCS throttle body, Christophe, Wed, 29 Oct 2003 16:26:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
removed from the ECU brain when the 93/02/18 ETS ECU was released.
That means that sometimes fault codes comes up that is populary called "ghost codes". It might be related to an oversensitive fault tracing program in the computer.
When a new computer (ECU) is manufactured, the "ghost codes" are removed from that new version.
The ACC computer on the 9000 has gone through several of those modifications too.
Many of the other fault codes listed I don't see on a regular basis related to TCS problems, so I suspect them to be created by someone disconnecting things with ignition on in an attempt to fix the problem.
As I have said before. If the throttle body on your car has the old partnumber. Get it replaced with the new updated one and have the ETS ECU properly calibrated by a Saab shop.
