Erik, something similar happened to me a few months ago. Just after unrelated repairs, the idle pulsed on my 94 aero between 1200 and 2500. My mechanic went after the Aic, cleaned it in every way, swapped in a known unit, etc. but the problem remained. It was fixed by an attempt to swap in a known ecu. They put my ecu back in after it had a chance to clear/reset, and all is well. I think you can solve this by pulling the negative off your battery for a half hour or so. good luck
