92 9k Low boost fixed and advice needed on mods

Well I finally solved my low (base?) boost problem. After checking and changing many hoses, valves, APC valve, swaping DI, DI/APC ecu, base boost level checks, error codes (none ever showed up), etc. It came down to a combination of the DI/APC ecu and a coding plug that was removed by someone when the first owner had some repair work done. Why, I don't know. But I had nowhere else to go and I lucked out. Took several months of reading shop manuals amd some advice from Anders. I even had the local dealer tell me I needed a new turbo (>$3000).
This is a '92 with 79,000 documented miles. New automatic 20k ago, new electronic throttle and ecu, the list goes on. Having all that extra power is lots of fun. Thanks to all of you that gave suggestions and had the patience to read my posts.
Now I'm ready for some mods. Exhaust and brakes are first on my list. Any suggestions? Chipping too?
Mike
