But I was referring to rebuilding the 91 70 705 unit. I have this unit on my car, and the error codes say that (or the wiring to it) is the source of my (yes, intermittent) TCS problems.
The pedal potentiometers seem to be a wear item as well.
These parts seem to remind me of the air mass meter on my '86 9000 turbo - fiddle with them all you like, but you're probably going to end up replacing it in order to solve your problem. The difference is, there were more than a couple places that would sell you a nicely rebuilt/reconditioned AMM for a decently discounted price compared to a new one. That's where I was going with this idea, rebuild the darn things to disincline other Saabers to shout "I Quit!" when they require a new TB.
