Permanant and Intermittent. Here's what I found from the codes you gave:
Intermittent 35780=Throttle switch, voltage too low
Intermittint 35781=Pedal switch, voltage too low
Intermittint 77593=Control module fault, safety switch 30
Permanent 42220=No +30 circuit current on pin 22
The remedial action refers to a SAAB manual which I unfortunately don't have, 2.5. However, there is a special section which contains hints/tips for 1991 and early 1992 cars:
24-pin connector in the main harness (front bulkhead partition). Faulty contact due to oxidation caused by water leakage. If there's any moisture/water in the connector, change the rubber seal, part No. 43 52 936. Wipe the connector dry and use Kontact 61, part No 45-30 04 520 on the female pins (sockets). Then plug and unplug several times to remove any oxide deposits. I guess any good electrical contact cleaner will work if you can't find the one SAAB specifies.
Grounding points G7 and G15. Resistance too high. Check/clean these grounding points.
Throttle cable. Cable position incorrectly set.
Non-return valve (leakage).
Pedal position sensors. Component fault can arise up to date of manufacture 101 (=m10 year 91)
Throttle body (throttle position sensor). Component fault can arise up to serial number 117885.
