Dave,
thanks for your input, unfortunately I am in Upstate NY.
The blower is not currently making any noise and blowing strong, I called the nearest garage that works on Saabs 70 miles away in Syracuse, mechanic thought blower was the culprit and possibly bad brushes causing excessive amp draw, will attempt to check that tonight. Hopefully not ACC as he suggests, rather have to replace blower, but even that thought is not the way I intended to spend Xmas vacation....have not figured out how to get thecodes without a reader.
