Well, I'll tell you what I found out on my 92 with TCS, which is probably the same as your 93. First, take the black plastic throttle cover off that covers the mechanical throttle cable connection on the throttle body. Because mine was missing and in LHM, I was able to find out that the throttle has a mechanical second LHM lever if you will, right under or behind the main lever on the throttle mechanism, and that if you pull it back into place you will restore throttle control at least to the point that it will idle correctly and is driveable. When you pull the throttle cover off, blip the throttle by pulling on the throttle arm. This second little arm is located on the same connection point, but is toward the passenger side of the car and if you pull it up it will click back in place and the car will run normal again. It seems that when the car goes into LHM, the throttle is locked down into this position somehow and the engine is not able to respond to the throttle. Hope that helps.
