I don't know if it's the glass becoming opaque
or yellow or neither. I can't find out unless I
try cleaning it.
I'm not so sure acetone would be harmless,
that's something I'd have to test first somehow.
I used to make boats, used acetone all day, and have seen it
harm a surprizing amount of surface coatings and paint, it certainly
dulls most plastic. Thanks for the idea of washing out the assembly
whole, I hadn't thought of that. Bye, Thanks, MichaelO
