The head gasket is NOT leaking by my inspecting by sight. Dry all the way around the perimeter of the seam where the head and block meet (where the gasket lives).
I just fear that perhaps there's a breach in the gasket on the inside somewhere. My brother suggests that this could simply be condensation. It HAS gotten colder here (for Atlanta, that equals low 40s).
He's also suggested I tighten the exhaust manifold bolts, since I DO see a little gap between the manifold and the head when the engine is cold. After the engine warms up, the metal expands and the gap is no longer there (nor is the liquid).
Anyway, I sure would appreciate a few more of your ideas and opinions.
