We got about 6 inches in NY on sunday. I have nokian wr's in 195/60r15 and I installed the TCS shut off switch a few weeks ago.
I started in a relatively steep unplowed hill that I've had to back down before.
As I hit the hill the car threatened to stop and realized that I let the TCS system re-engage when I got gas. I swiched it off and began modulating the throttle.
The road get progessively steeper and although I was barely moving at times, I made it all the way up. With everything else the same and the TCS on, I didn't make it past the first part.

(I've got a long comeback ahead of me...)
