The subject may have already been beaten to death. Still, what's a good battery for your 9k? For years I have been a loyal customer to Diehard until they made it difficult for SAAB I usually have to go to Sears several towns over to get it.

Went overseas for two weeks early January. Came back. Drove the Volvo for another. In three weeks time the 94 9kcs was left in the garage. This morning, I tried to take her out. The battery was dead. It was an Energizer from Pepboys (don't laugh). This same two year old battery which gave the car a voltage dip first day this past summer it triggered the SRS light.

Moreover, when I hooked up the battery charger the amperage stayed at 2 amp. Not a good sign since I know it should fluctuate between 0 to 6 amp for this particular charger if it is charging a fully drained healthy battery.

Which battery is considered good?
