definately try a new transmission motormount. Even poly will not affect vibration on that end
My trans motor mount was soaked and softened my oil from the end cap. the transmission started to 'settle'. Causing a small alignment problem, and serious shifter movement, even with new motormounts.
BTW sucking the fluid out of a small tube (that joins into a large tube that fits to the syringe) taks quite a while and a lot of hand strength. You will see that there is a limit to the size of the tube that can get to the bottom of the case. Sometimes that is no bigge than a vaccume hose. So you can the resistance there;-) Use leather gloves. OR just use a vac pump!
Not sure if that will help the problem, however.
Apal, we are talking about manual gear box.
