'93 9K CSE turbo coolant temp gauge low

1) Trying to help my parents out with their '93 9kt w/ 110K....they're seeing a low temp reading on the gauge. Check engine light has not come on, and the heater still seems to put out sufficient heat. My father assumed thermostat, but I'm thinking it's the temp sensor, since the heater still works. What do you all think? If so, where is the sensor on such a car (I would get a manual if it were my car, but it isn't)?
2) Apparently the a/c is not blowing cold enough either - first thing to check is the r134a level, right? Is there a sight glass or something?
3) Occasionally, the left high beam fails, and the indicator for a burned out headlight comes on. The contact seems to be tight - is there something obvious to check here?
4) Finally, the SRS light seems to be going blinky. I tried a "reboot" to no avail. Any first steps?
Thanks for helping out a Saab repair newbie.
