I only want to know what type Axxis pads I have since they did not come in the original box (Deluxe vs. MM).
If these are MM's, then so be it. Personally, I like how my new set-up works (Brembo flat-faced rotors with the Axxis pads). Much better than stock, and definitely better than my previous combo of Zimm c-d rotors with PBR Deluxe pads.
My concern also is that these new pads do have a "slippery" feeling on the first or second braking. After that, they allow the car to stop on a dime. It seems you're the only person who has never experienced this feeling with the MM. Consider yourself fortunate. It's a little unsettling. I've read all the previous posts on this topic, and most, if not all, have the same feeling I now have.
But at least now I know to "warm them up" on the first drive out. I intend to keep these on the car because they have awesome grip.
