Assuming the BPC valves are the same (you WERE able to plug it in, after all) you need to do some careful adaptation runs. Your ECU is "used to" your broken BPC and has gone to "max boost" attempting to compensate. Watch the boost and moderate the throttle to keep boost reasonable; after a couple runs the ECU should figure out that the BPC is working and reduce boost. This is what my Aero does if you drive it with the BPC unplugged (base boost only) then hook it back up (wild boost until the ECU recompensates).
You may also want to unplug the battery a half hour or so to reset the ECU, and check your base boost to make sure it's correct.
