Clutch Master Replacement Questions

Hey all,
I recently found myself out of town, and my car's ('93 9000 Aero) clutch master gave up.

Anyway, I had to take it to the dealership (A Saab dealership). After explaining to the service writer that it needed a clutch master, NOT A CLUTCH! he changed the estimate from $1300 to $300-$350. Not great, but at $100/hour, and without any choice, I said go ahead and get it done.

Picked the car up the next day and they had flushed my hydraulic fluid and charged a total of $515. Granted, the fluids needed to be changed, but I would have done that myself, and I feel that they should have asked before they did it.

Once in the car and safely on my way home (500-600 miles home) I realize that the cruise control doesn't work, and the blower fan doesn't work.

Anyway, the question is this: In replacing the clutch master, is it likely that the fan and Cruise were unplugged, causing the non-use of both? Also, any syggestions on approaching the dealer in the way that they treated me and gave me a car back that doesn't work the way it did when I gave it to them?
