Peter, Any good epoxy will work. Follow the directions careully as they will be different. It's important to get the two parts mixed THOROUGHLY, as this is what starts the chemical reaction which activates the epoxy. In general, the quick acting epoxies are not as strong as the ones that take longer to set up. I once bought "Five Minute Epoxy" thinking that it would set up in five minutes. When I read the fine print, it turned out they wanted me to MIX it for five minutes. West Epoxy will cure well overnight. Heat decreases the cure time so it will take longer to set up in an unheated garage in winter than on a hot summer day. Clamping the piece as sugested here by others sounds like a better idea than putting a brick on it.
