I'm running the Abbott 308mm kit. Works great, but it isn't exactly cheap especially with the exchange rates. You also need 16" wheels to make it fit.

On the otherhand a set of Brembos for an M5 tops $6000 right now, so maybe $1500 for the Abbott kit isn't too bad.

Prior to the Abbott kit I tried 4 combinations of pads and rotors from various suppliers. They ranged, in my opinion, from bad to mediocre. I'm about to burn through the last set under the wife's car then I'll probably spring for an Abbott kit there too.

Other guys on this board seem happy with Zimmerman or Brembo rotors and Metalmasters or Ferodo pads. Depends on your standards & the depth of your wallet.

Sorry there isn't a good cheap solution.
