driving Saab's for 20 years, 84 900T, and now for the last 9 years, 9Ks
I have 3 9Ks in my driveway now, '95 Aero, '95 CS FPT and the
'97 Anniversity Edition. I have the luxury of being able to do a mod
to one of the cars and make a direct comparison with one of the
others.
Thanks for the input on the possibility of the chrome rusting, I'll keep it waxed.
As for the installation time, I can't concieve that this install would take
1.5 hours, unless you drank a beer in between removing each of the 6 bolts. Maybe the OG 9K is much more involved.
With the '97 it's as simple as removing 6, 16mm bolts (maybe 5 min)
deciding the correct orientation for the brace ( 2 possibilities) and
reinstalling the bolts, (another 5 min) and securing the brace's hindges.
