1998 CSE rough idle with AC on

Starting to put a few miles on my new 98 auto CSE. Noticed a few things and would welcome any comments:
1) get a vibration at idle with AC in Auto mode. If I turn AC off, vibration goes away. Idle is rock steady at about 800-900 rpms. Hopefully it's not the AC compressor going?
2) Boost only goes to first band of broken red. Seems to drop off very quickly (doesn't stay up there too long, then drops rapidly to mid yellow). Hooter valve replacement?
3) If I take my foot off the gas and let car decelerate, around 40 mph get an abrupt deceleration arond the shift point. Planning on doing a tranny fluid and filter change, but is this indicative of potential tranny failure in the near future? Seems to shift fine otherwise, no hesitiation when going from park to D or R. Can I adjust the bands, or could the hooter/pcv have something to do with this?
Otherwise pretty pleased so far. Rides nice, better stereo than my 92, and much quicker (can't wait to get full boost!)
Thanks
Ron
