the balance chain? I have the kit to change all the timing chain parts. I was just amazed at the horrible condition of the chain in there. Yes, there were loose pieces broken off of the guides.
What about balance chain? I have been told that it is not necessary, and adds a little vibration if left out. Since my exhaust shaft was not working, just loosing the intake balance shaft shouldn't matter much more.
