Is this the fan switch on the radiator? Did the brass part come out? Did part of the radiator come out with it? If so, that's a tough one. I once screwed one in too tight and cracked the threads, and it was never quite the same.

If the brass part of the switch is still in the raditor, you should be ok. Get a socket that fits it (27mm?) and carefully see if you can unscrew it.

If the whole threaded plastic part of the radiator broke off, I don't think there's much you can do. The best you could do is try to close that hole up and use an alternative fan control. You could either get the electronic one that BobS makes, or you could get a T fitting and put a regular fan switch into the radiator hose. So if you can close up that hole, you'll be ok. If the plastic there is suitably thick, you might be able to make the hole nice and round and find a threaded plug to go in. You might try an epoxy like PC-7 or JB weld to seal things up, but they do not usually do well in this application. I don't know if it's the plastic that the radiator tanks are made of, or the heat, or the antifreeze itself, but the epoxy usually doesn't last long.

Worst case scenario, you may need a new radiator.

If you succeed in colsing the hole, it'll be easy enough to move the switch. Look at hardware stores and plumbing stores ti see if you can find a plug.
