KDW stands for Kick Down Wire. The automatic transmission have one more computer (ASR) that serves the KDW motor.
Manual transmission calibration.
Run the car until warm.
Read and reset ALL fault codes in ALL ECUs. Make sure that the ETS ECU is coded properly to the engine/transmission type.
Turn on ign and go in to ETS ECU and go to calibration.
Enter calibration mode (973) and start engine. If engine starts up and run with normal idle the calibration sequens have broken and needs to be started over.
If engine starts and runs very rough, wait for the TCS light to light up.
Don't touch any knobs, buttons or pedals.
Engine will rev up to 3000rpm and stay there for awhile.
When idle have dropped down to normal, the calibration is done.
If the car wont idle at all you might have to enter the command, base idle (974) to reset adaption values for throttle body.
Good luck
Anders
