Tcu Light and Check engine Light On

After doing some engine work I chose to clean the engine with light engine cleaner and a soft spray from a garden hose. After cleaning I let the motor run for 5 minutes after the cleaning to let it dry off and get rid of any water in the engine compartment. Man, the engine compartments looks good now BUT, after setting all night and driving it to work the next day, I went to drive it to lunch and the check engine light and the TCU light came on and it died. I restarted the car again and it ran for a few minutes then went into the same act. I resarted and got it into LHM and made it back to work and home later that day. I called an x-Saab repair guy and he said to spray all seen harness conections with W-D40 to get rid of the moisture in the harness. Did that tonight and it didn't cure the problem. I removed the + battery terminal to reset the cars electonics and restarted the car. The throttle body began to click for about a minute and then stopped. The problem still is there and now the cling noise is there also. I would take it that all the reading that I have done on here that the brain modules are good because it still starts and runs for a short while before dying with the TCU and check engine light on. It still runs ok in the LHM ? Any Ideas other that the local Saab dealer and $$$$$.
