Do You Mean "TCS" Light and CEL?

And if it IS TCS light, which one? The red "TCS CONTROL" light in lower right of instrument panel? If so, that's the one that illuminates when you have limp-home problems.
Also, how many flashes is your CEL giving you? If you have a pre--96 car (I think), you can check the CEL by turning the key to the "on" position WITHOUT starting the car. Watch the CEL, and it will first come on with a long blink, then several short ones. Count how many short blinks, and that will help point toward a potential problem.
Did you double-check to make sure all your vaccuum hoses were still connected? Beyond that, I don't like the description of a clicking throttle body. Mine is a TCS car ('93 Aero), and I've never heard it make any noise whatsoever. Wonder if you got engine de-greaser and/or water inside its electrical area.
Hope it's NOT the throttle body. Good luck!
