and decided to go with solid rubber lower mounts on mine and OE upper mounts, but this is because I have relegated my Saab to a backup car to my high maintenance daily driver. My family thinks I am crazy for keeping both this and my BMW, but I do all the work on both cars myself and it pays to have a solid backup for when you have to mail order parts.
If I was going to keep driving the Saab as a primary vehicle, I would have gone with stock mounts with the travel limiter mod. Right now, cost is a concern because I have also just dropped money on new shocks and springs and didn't want to spend the extra $120 on hydraulic mounts for what little driving I do with this car.
If you really want a more rigid performance platform, go with the poly setup, but expect it to vibrate more. Personally I don't think the benefit would be worth the vibration unless you have done something to increase HP and torque to the point that you think you would eat up your stock mounts. This would be my last upgrade after suspension, performance engine mods, body mounts and sway bars, and lastly motor mounts. The poly won't give you that much benefit for handling, but they will last longer under stress.
Good Luck
David
