and my experience is that you cant fit 3 standard car seats in the rear, but if you shop you can find narrow boosters for the older kids and drop the baby carrier variety in the middle. The newer narrow boosters make the older ones feel like big kids.

BTW: 3 is nothing. We wound up with 4. Then last year my wife was going to get her tubes tied, this was supposed to take place the week after our vacation. Guess what? Her birthday was during vacation=too much wine.... back of the box reads "99% effective". Well, we found out that her visit to her OB meant instead of having tubes tied....nubmer 5 was on the way.

Chaotic? Yes, of course. Yet I can't imagine my life without any of them. We have 2boys, 1girl, 2 boys. The oldest just getting ready to start 1st grade.

I am hoping that with 5 kids that they will be able to support me when I get old, because at this rate I will be paying for their college until I am 100.

Congratulations to you and your wife!

PS: I have had my faithful saab for three years longer than my oldest son. With all that my CD has been through with me, I just can't get rid of her. Of course my wife has a Town & Country in lieu of a short bus.
