Apology to Street, and a finding about Fuse 9 trick...

Street, I did not mean to come forth as though I was questioning your knowledge back during the earlier thread on this topic.
One thing I did notice about the Fuse 9 trick is fluctuating boost. I remember someone mentioning this as well within that earlier thread (Bill?).
Is there a difference between pulling Fuse 9 and disconnecting Pin 14? Reason being is that the fuse might control other ECU-related items (other than the rear windows, sunroof, and cig lighter). Pin 14 only controls torque-limitation in auto's. Why would there be a fuse to control this anyway? Pin 14 is either on or off, telling the ECU if it is an auto or a stick.
While driving home that evening, the boost was not as strong/high as it had been in the morning. In fact, it would taper off much quicker, as well as I experienced more turbo lag.
Has anyone else experienced this situation when pulling Fuse 9 as opposed to disconnecting Pin 14?
Joe
