Hi everyone
im new to site
and im new to Saabs
But would really would like to join Saab Community, heard good things about the cars and now ready to buy one... although its a used one, before getting it i would like to ask a couple newbish questions and didnt find any better place than SaabNet...
i hope this wont be be against rules of BBs and i hope i will get good advice from long time Saab owners...
What's your thoughts on 1995 9000 CSE auto trans. if im not mistaken, its 2.3L 200 hp I4 engine, 1 owner, has 120k miles on it, the body is in great shape, looks like rust free and very good taken care of, the only thing that stopping me from buying is display says check the engine, the owner claiming that its out antifreeze, my thoughts were that its more like water pump, but again im newbie and dont know a lot about Saabs nor about its checking system...
my question is what could it be? and what are you thoughts on this car? and could i expect in terms of repairing this car?
The situation may be sounds like more a newbie selling car to a newbie, may be im wrong, may be the seller is more advanced than me, never know, but the answer about antifreeze was kind of strange...
im hoping that even if im a newbie, i can gain some knowledge about Saabs once i have my first Saab...don't be harsh on replies, we all start things in our life at some point...
