Howdy,
Thanks for your reply, it's nice to know i'm not the only one with this problem! All my friends look at it and laugh when they get in my car. they all say "uuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr!!! your car says Uuuuuurrrrrrrr"
i'm like, " come on you guys, it's ERROR, it means ERROR"
and they're like " uuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!"
so, as you can see, this is a VERY annoying problem! :)
i'm going to guess this problem isn't my temp sensor, because it senses the temp correctly. It's a semi-cool day out, and it says 68 degrees, nothing negative or high...
...however, in MY car's case since it was an automatic... there might have been some sensor disconnected somewhere else?
i had to jump the auto shift selector harness into thinking it was in neutral... so could this be the reason why it says ERR in my car?
do any of you with this ERR problem have automatics? i guess if someone with an automatic 9000 tried to start it in neutral, and got the ERR message, then i know why mine does it, and there wouldn't be anything i could do about it...
but if there is something i can try, i'd like to try it. What other sensors are there? the thing is that all of the readings work though!
or wait....
maybe... it tests all of the connections for P R N D 3 2 1 ???? maybe i have to ground those wires out in the auto shift selector??? but that might freak other things out...
poop indeed
