besides replacing the shocks/struts and springs, you could also do the following which will definitely improve performance:
Poly front control arm bushings (typically, the rear of the two)
Poly front end-link bushings
Rubber (new oem) front sway bar chassis bushings
Poly rear sway bar chassis bushings
That's all I did to my suspension, and it made an incredible difference. Just the poly rear sway bar bushings improved the handling dramatically. The car became "point and shoot" just from that! Granted, my '98 came stock with Aero suspension, but these items made it even better.
All of those things are fairly simple to DIY, and not costly at all.
You could also put in larger diameter sway bars (front and rear). The '95 has 19mm front and 18mm rear. The Aero (and '98) has 19mm all around.
There's also the front strut top brace available from Taliaferro (site sponsor).
And as it's been mentioned time and time again, tires make or break the handling characteristics of the suspension. Try going "plus-size" from what is stock on '95. That means to keep the over-all diameter the same while increasing the width slightly (as in my case, stock is 205/55-16 and I went with 225/50-16).
