...to make any noise... and i always thought it was the lines running to it that had been severed somehow... but after a couple tests, i realized the horn itself wasn't working... so a junkyard and a half later, it's working and as loud as ever! Only was to know for sure i guess would be to pull off your grill, and disconnect the horn's harness... and maybe test voltage flor through the wires to make sure it's getting clost to 12v through it... wires could be corroded possibly?
If you do get a good reading, then it's probably the horn... but...
as for the interior chime... i have no idea. I wouldn't think that they are on the same ciruit... as the horn has it's own fuse. I disabled my interior chime because i often leave the door open while working on the car, or while loading/unloading it, and it annoyed the heck out of me...
...so... if they're really bothering you that much and you got the time to spend to figure them out... go for it... but in my opinion having a horn is MUCH more important than the chime... when mine didn't work i almost got run off the road, and i couldn't even beep at the person to let them know! Saftey first!
