Somerville is more realistic for us though, in terms of rent. The Cambridge Apt. we lived in when I was born was $160/mo. Those were the days, I guess??
Mr. Finn, I get all my maintenance work done in Vermont at European Autoworks in Coventry. Family has a house there and the parts/labor ratio of a typical bill is 4 to 1. I paid $150 labor to have the heater core / blower / tensioner / s-belt / pulleys all replaced. Nice.
In Boston expect 1 to 1 or even 1 to 1.5. parts/labor.
But ABJ in Somerville IS where I would go in an emergency. Have never had to go there yet for a repair. They have a separate store in Somerville which is good for getting parts, that's where I went yesterday.
Have also tried Mecca motors, they were good, but the labor is killer around here.
Good Luck w/ the '91. I almost bought one before I got my '93.
