I have a '94 CS and it's a great car! Note that in the US, the '94 CS and CSE were both available either Normally Aspirated (150 HP) or with the optional turbo (full pressure 200 HP version only). The LPT 170 HP was not introduced on the CS until 1995, when it was made a standard feature vs. the 200 HP full pressure turbo for the pricier CSE.
The major difference between the CS and CSE are leather seats (optional on CS, standard on CSE) and accessories like power seats, trip computer, slightly better radio with in-dash single CD/equalizer, etc. I actually prefer the velour seats in my car compared to leather, less sliding around, they are cooler in the summer, heat up faster in the winter, and will never crack. Power seats are just something else to break - I'm the principal driver of this car, so I don't need the memory feature.
The 1994 is far superior to the 1993 as it has the newer, stronger transmission (improved synchros?) and omits the standard 1993 "feature" of Traction Control System, a non-ending source of headaches - this became optional in 1994 and I doubt many CSs came with it.
The later model cars introduced fairly small changes from the 1994, mostly insignificant. Be aware that a few 1994s have their radiator thermosensor in the top radiator hose, which makes it into an expensive part.
