...sooner or later, the srs light will come on...
you are faced with that choice... pay a retarded sum of money for a 10+ year old srs sytem to be "fixed" and still HOPE that it works in an accident...
...or pull the bulb and almost be sure that it WILL NOT go off in an accident...
I chose the latter... and pulled the bulb. I also got a nice looking steering wheel made by momo too... which i love so much.
If my face is going to break on anything, i'd like it to be a nice looking steering wheel... rather than a big ole gooofy airbag wheel that won't work anyways...;)
I seem to recall that the drivers seatbelt... or possibly passanger seatbel, or maybe both in some cars... has a saftety mechanism that os activated in a crash, and "zips really tight really fast", holding you to the seat.
This is most likely why the srs light is on, but i can't tell you how to fix it...
i could look up a diagram, and you could maybe trace the wires... but like i said, even if you get the light off... and you have an accident... it's anyones guess wether the system will work or not... once the light has come on and you haven't paid the $$$ to get it fixed...
...good luck
