'97 9000CS w/ 138K miles; serpentine belt last changed at 65K (Feb 2001) at the dealer during the "big" service. After reading past posts, it seems I may be playing a dangerous game, even though the belt looks great (Saab Technician said the same thing at 134K miles). I also have all original pulleys. Cost difference btwn Saab original crankshaft pulley and Scantech pulley on eEuroparts is $55 I believe... how risky to go w/the cheaper part? I have not marked the pulley (not experiencing any squealing, etc.)... just looking to be preventative at this point as I'd hate the change the belt and then have a pulley fail.

What else to change while at it... the idler pulley? Lastly, this work will be above and beyond my limited DIY capability (a real triumph that I just changed the plugs and air filter myself recently): any guesstimates for labor for the above mentioned work? Obviously I can just look the cost of the parts up online. Thanks for your continued advice and support; I'd be a real soup sandwich without this board, and I probably would have sold the car by now.
