I instantly fell in love with my 88 9000 turbo as soon as I drove it. On the test drive, I was merging onto the highway, and the seller says to me, "Uh, you might want to check your speed ...". I had just hit 85 mph without even trying to--the engine just pulled and pulled ... Never had any problems merging since.

I totally agree with you about the windshield and vision past the A-pillars. I have really long legs, so I always find myself moving my head around to see traffic on turns. That 900 windshield sorta wrapped itself around, and made it real easy.

I also miss the hood configuration a little bit--it was always neat to see that flip top hood.
