Hello,

I think based on the 30 amp fuse blowing for your cooling fan, which IS the same fan that is exposed as you say... one can assume that the fan isn't going to work anymore.

I WOULD NOT drive your car very far at all, if it's overheating and you cant figure out why..

Back to the fan, if the fuse BLEW, that means the fan could have seized, and it started to try and draw more power and more power to try and turn, but it couldn't for some reason, and then the fuse blew from the current overdraw...

... unfortunately, if that was the case, simply replacing the fuse won't solve the mechanical problem that the fan is having.

It sounds to me like the fan needs to be replaced... but even if that's not the case, bring it to a mechanic to diagnose the problem rather than continuing to drive it and overheat the engine. That fan is all that stand between you and a few thousand dollars in repairs from possible damage by overheating!
