It's your lucky day!

First of all, you found the hoses swapped. Congraduations! :)

That one took me about 3 months, or 3000 miles, whichever came first...

...so...

here's what you do.

My BPC wasn't fully killed in the whole ordeal, but it WAS rather sirty for some reason, and stuck.

Take it out of the car completely, and soak it in a bath of spray solvent of your choosing. I chose brake cleaner that is safe on electronics. Used a whole can.

During the spray process, i hooked up the center pin directly to the ground terminal of my battery, and i kept alternating the positive terminal of my battery to the outer pins.

This causes the disc on the inside to move back and forth, back and forth, as i spray the cleaner in all of the connections.

It worked great for me, might not work so good for you...

...in any case....

Upon re-installing it to my car, i STILL had base boost. The thought of someone accidently swapping vacuum lines got me thinking, i should check and RECHECK ALL the lines...

...and i found lots of bad bad stuff. My FPR was not connected, nor my bypass valve, OR the PCV valve.

So i connected all that stuff back to vacuum, and STILL got low boost.

So i sat on it for a few days, checked the turbo wastegate, and intercooler, and rechecked everything again...

and the thing that got me RIGHT up to 15-16 psi max boost... was this...

Unhook the car battery overnight. Both the positive and negative terminals (positive first, then negative is the way i did it, didn't hurt anything...)

Just undo them before you go to bed, make sure the car is unlocked first! In the morning, go out, hook up the battery (ground first!) and take it for a spin...

...i'm not going to guarantee anything, but this is what fixed it for me.

My guess is the computers both got crazy readings for so long, that they were just screwy, and needed to be reset.

You COULD dig them out, and unplug theri connectors for an hour, but i think that disconnecting the battery overnight is much easier.

SO...

do this, and let me know if it works. We may be onto something! :)
