Thanks very much, Paul. You are very kind to have taken the time to post this step-by-step process for me to follow. There is only one thing I need to note, and that is that I don't have a turbo engine. So...does this change anything at all?
You wrote: "The sensor is mounted (as I recall)on the output side of the turbocharger"...
...and also: "unscrew the O2 sensor in a counterclockwise direction, and remove the O2 sensor from output side of the turbo"...
I suspect I should be able to find something that has two white wires and one black wire coming from it, but wanted to note here that I don't have a turbo charged engine, just in case that information is significant to the process in any way.
Thank you again for your kindness in helping me with this project.
Oh...as for the O2 sensor itself...is this something I can pick up at any auto parts store, or must I purchase one from one of the Saab sponsors and not drive my car until it arrives?!! (My car is kind of spitting, sputtering, and sometimes stalling over this issue.)
Thanks again.
Julia
