yeah your right, but it hasn't been bad for the last 8 years I've been here. but we don't get a lot of ocean wind except for the winter as I'm looking north over the Georgia strait.

I've been chasing very small rust knicks on hte body on my 88, but the fittings and even the rear shock bolts have been quite nice. my car is garage kept most times though. yes it will corrode in areas that are exposes, such as the calipers and under body bits, but far less than where i originally lived;-)

the only real problem with Vancouver island is the excessive salt on the roads 2 months a year, not for snow but for those freezing mornings after rainy days (as you know I'm sure). I'm hoping they take Washington's lead and go salt free.
