thank you for all of your replys, now its time for me to do some testing when i get the time this week.. i have been driving the car as is for a few hundredd miles (im bad, but i thought it was my exhaust). i will remove the valve cover and check for wear and tear. My motor mounts are shot so i will take that into thought as well. No squeals just knocks and rattles like how a cv joint would sound but alot faster. i just moved to orange county,ca from colorado and there isnt that saab family feeling here. the average saab driver here doesnt know what the older saabs look like or other models,, so thank god for SAABNET.
