Similar problem, but not the same...

I had a faulty "new" O2 sensor that caused the CEL to illuminate with the P0130/P0133 code(s) soon after installing it. Wreaked major havoc since who would have thought a brand new O2 sensor could be the culprit?
Personally, I've never been a big fan of disconnecting the battery to extinguish the CEL. Doing that causes the ECU to have to re-adapt itself (which takes 2+ weeks unless you do an adaptation run to speed things up), messes up the pre-set radio selections, as well as erases the ECU memory of any stored codes it might have had (that did not trigger the CEL).
Since the 2.3 engine only has one exhaust bank, the P0130 is for the primary O2 sensor near the turbo, and the P0140 is for the secondary O2 sensor near the cat. The secondary sensor rarely, if ever, needs replacement. Its purpose is to provide the ECU with a baseline figure for proper exhaust management. It does NOT compare figures from the primary and adjusts fuel, air, etc., as most people think.
Two things come to mind now:
1) Disconnecting the battery caused your ECU to "hiccup". I would try having the CEL extinguished with a Tech2 tool (performed free at AutoZone, $30 at an indie or dealer), or do the battery thing again and hope for the best.
2) FPR problem caused a rich condition which fouled the tips of both of the O2 sensors. If this is the case, I would also assume your cat is probably shot if the secondary O2 sensor is ruined from too-rich of a fuel mixture.
Note that the CEL will not go out on its own, even after fixing the problem. It must be extinguished with a Tech2 tool or disconnecting the battery (last resort).
