Part Code: 4646758
Part Name: Strut Insert
Part Brand: Bilstien
Part Cost: $139.90
Part Core Charge: $0.00
Part Description:
Front strut insert for any 93-97 9000 Aero. Saab quality Bilstein.
You'll note that the strut doesn't include the coil spring. You can use the spring off of your car. That's what I did on my '93 Aero. By the way, I also recommend doing new strut mounts (with bearings). I used the Genuine Saab unit. I did notice, however, that the REAR shocks aren't displayed on eEuro's site, but I bought all front and rear HDs from them. I'd bet they have them.
All you really need to confirm with any supplier is whether this is the HD. By the way, the HD DEFINITELY will give you a much firmer ride, so make sure that's what you really are looking for in ride quality. Handling, however, is DRAMATICALLY improved on my car. Worth the tradeoff for me. I also replaced all suspension bushings with poly bits, and I upgraded to larger wheels with 45-series tires, so my ride's even stiffer still.
But MAN, the handling is so crisp. I just hate any big bumps; not much of the original car's compliance left with this setup...
