EDU in 88-model in "Service Mode?"

Hi.
In some way I think I manage to get my EDU (2) in my 1988 model in a strange mode. Not having the manual, I did not know how to reset the average comsumption result. The R-button was of course obvious, but how?
I managed to find out, and is now also aware that simultanious push on R and INFO brings the system in various configurations of EU/GB and US-modes.
(g/l - km/miles - C/F) But somehow in my search, it seems that I have entered a combination of buttons and timing that brought me in a mode, where I cold "tell" the EDU something! A figure (Don't remember which) showed up in the display, and pressing R or INFO made the figure count up or down.
Since my EDU is slightly inaccurate, I wonder if I have entered a mode where it is possible to adjust the diameter of the wheels? Ideally seen, such a possibillity ought to be there somewhere in the menu? doesn't it?
But it is probably not covered by a standard owners manual.
Anyone who knows?
